From above came a terrible reign of rainbow-colored gems. They piled up, they threatened to suffocate our entire land. if only there was some way to get rid of them if only there was someone who knew of their weakness. Then, amid the chaos of a swarm of neon nightmares came the solution. To make them disapear you would have to organize them properly. Touch one stone to another and watch them both disapear! It turned out that in all of their flamboyance they had one weakness: matching. By taking the initiative to move fast and match each existing gem to a gem of the same color you could make all like colored gems disapear! What a salve! Finally we were saved, all it took was one forward minded young individual with the ability to think outside the box and connect those boxes and then watch those boxes disapear. The ability to make gems disapear by matching them went from life saving to past time. Eventually games were made to emulate the thrill of victory one would feel after finally smashing their way through a pile of gems as they piled faster and faster closer to the sky. Life was good again, scres were high again, the gems were gone and in their place stood an entertaining novelty.
