Okay, day 86 and I still have no idea what drains the fuel gauge, as it certainly isn't how much fuel you use. It seems to have a mind of its own. On day 84 it remained completely full until about 80% of the final stage, at which point it began to drain rapidly. My only guess is it has to do with how much damage you take, but it varied wildly. New vehicles perform exactly the same as the previous ones. Firing bullets does almost nothing to help you finish a stage. Buying more explody spiders only seems to destroy your tank more quickly. All that said, I still had fun for some reason. Just wish the game behaved more consistently.

Solid game mechanics, monotonous music, don't understand the point of the zombies besides adding a gory element. All in all, a good racing game. 7 out of 10 rating.
